Fifth Cracked Article
My fifth Cracked.com article, 8 Historic Symbols That Mean The Opposite of What You Think, was published today.
The article covers misunderstood use of historic symbols like Chief Crazy Horse, 40 Acres and A Mule, and Satanist wearing a symbol of Christian deference and humility towards Christ.

I really liked your cracked article on misunderstood symbols. That’s the type of shit I love pulling into a conversation as incendiary ammo… good links led to great info and further wiki-crawls. Please keep it up.
You fit in well at Cracked, a publication that has brought me many good laughs. I’ll keep reading.
But while we’re on misunderstood symbols, you’ve royally fucked up the <a href= in your blog link to the article. I hate grammar nazis but broken links really grate my balls. Cheers man.

Mt Rushmore, which is similarly resented by the Sioux for the same reason as the Crazy Horse statue, was carved by Gutzon Borglum, along with a large team of miners operating jackhammers. I know there is some controversy about Gutzon Borglum because of this, and he and his supporters point to some sort of assistance he gave to some indians in the early 30′s as evidence his heart was in the right place, even if he was carving into sacred earth. Is there also controversy between Borglum and Ziokowski?
